Halloween. Students´ opinions (just a month ago)

Halloween in my school

Last October 31^st it was Halloween and at school, on Friday that week we celebrated it . A lot of students prepared this feast with ornaments and posters with typical sentences on the celebration. There was also a very beautiful and original pumpkin contest, a scary cemetery and many people had the chance to make up their faces in a makeup workshop organized through the Extracurricular Activities Department.

I liked this activity a lot because I had never done anything on Halloween before and I think everyone has learnt much about this custom.

In conclusion, I think this experience has been very positive and enlightening for everybody. Everything was awesome so I hope it happens again in future.

This year, at school, we have celebrated Halloween. We made a scary cemetery and a Jack-o-lantern exhibition. We also decorated all the corridors and the main hall. It was great! I enjoyed and liked it very much.

The best of Halloween was the spooky cemetery. There were a lot of ghosts and screams. This Halloween was fantastic.

This year we celebrated Halloween at school. Halloween is not a Spanish festivity but I like it. We made a cemetery and decorated the whole school. We had a Jack-o-lantern competition. I liked the decoration very much!

First of all, I would like to say that Halloween should not be celebrated in Spain because it is a British or American or whatever festivity. Nevertheless, I could say that everything was very good –included the decoration- and we learnt a lot about this feast and its vocabulary.
